Claremont McKenna College continuously monitors, and is dedicated to full compliance with, public health guidance from the CDC, Cal/OSHA, and the LA County Public Health Department. The College regularly adapts its campus policies and practices in light of current public health metrics in the region, guidance from public health authorities, national data and trends, and the evolving science on COVID-19.

The CMC COVID-19 Dashboard is a public-facing tool designed to track and evaluate the real-time impact of COVID-19 on the health of our campus community, and to demonstrate the College’s ability to respond timely and appropriately to positive or suspected cases. It illustrates testing data for the prior week, the total number of tests administered within the CMC community to date, the current positivity rate, and the total number of negative and positive test results (although a positive case does not necessarily mean symptomatic or sick, particularly among the vaccinated).

Vaccinations are still the most important preventive measure. To date, our vaccination campaign has been successful. Reported community vaccination rates, both full and partial, have surpassed 98% (with students at 99%, staff at 90%, and faculty at 99%.)

We will update the dashboard weekly so that our students, faculty, and staff, as well as the broader Claremont community all have a full, accurate, and timely view of our COVID-19 data.
