Caring for Our Community
With guidance from public health officials and in partnership with health care and technology experts, Hamilton Health Box and Qualtrics, we have created the CMC Community of Care. Our holistic approach includes education, on-site care and support, in addition to screening, testing, tracing and case management. This is a full community response with access to testing and health care for students, employees and their families or household members.
Our online COVID Handbook will explain health and safety measures on campus, provide a roadmap of the process of care, and guide you to the answers you need. We are here for you every step of the way.
Our comprehensive process of care includes:
Exposure Management Plan
Following the protocols for institutes of higher education set forth by the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health, we have developed an exposure management plan.
Hamilton Health Box
Our on-campus medical clinic and registered nurse provide confidential, on-site care per CDC and LADPH guidelines and assist with testing, tracing and case management.
Qualtrics Technology
With Qualtrics technology, we are able to provide daily health screenings, on-site testing, contact tracing, comprehensive exposure and case management, isolation housing and other services for our community.
Established Protocols
We have posted and follow the protocols for physical distancing, face coverings, enhanced cleanings on campus, and other safety measures.
Education and Training
We are committed to education, training and support for all members of the CMC community.
Additionally, by committing to a signed CMC Agreement, we are confident our students, faculty, and staff will embrace their institutional and civic responsibility to protect the community’s health and adapt to a reimagined way of living and learning on campus.
