Guidelines for Faculty and Staff

Returning to Campus

  • Must attend COVID training and agree to CMC consent
  • Daily health screening required for staff, faculty and vendors who enter the campus
  • In-person or web-based daily symptom screening required
  • College (with managers) to determine who can fulfill responsibilities remotely and who is required to be on-campus
  • A committee will review hardships or exceptions for staff
  • Establish vendor and visitor policies, review they are compliant with health and safety protocols

Pre-return to campus:

  • Email sent to work or personal email address before returning to campus, including guidance on what to expect regarding daily screening, access to testing, changes to campus, health and safety protocols
  • Instructions to participate in Zoom health and safety training
  • Staggered reporting times, as necessary
  • Requiring employees who are not feeling well to stay home

Return to campus:

  • Daily Health Screening: Participant completes, either in person or via web-based health screening, for clearance to access campus.
  • Employees with symptoms, or who have been exposed to a person testing positive, receive a call from HHB RN for follow-up.
  • HHB to provide COVID test, quarantine/isolation instructions, and referral to employee’s PCP
  • HHB RN to call employee mid-way and at the end of quarantine period to evaluate/issue return-to-work
